Church and Community Missioner in the South Warwickshire Circuit

  • £18,000-£22,000 per annum depending on experience (funded for three years initially)
  • 35 hour per week including some weekend work (could be a job share).

The Methodist Churches of Warwick, Wellesbourne and Whitnash are seeking to appoint a Church and Community Missioner to support our churches to become more engaged with and accessible to the local community in which each is set.

This post is currently funded for three years; and is a full time post of 35 hours a week. Job share applicants are welcome to apply.

There will be an office base at one of the three churches.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we continue on our journey to discern God's purpose for our churches. You will work in partnership with our churches and our Minister to develop our mission, build relationships in the community, and develop and deliver new initiatives.

We are looking for a committed Christian with a commitment to a vision of open and inclusive church. You will be a skilled and sensitive communicator. You will be willing to work collaboratively and on your own initiative, and you will be able to lead and inspire volunteers to work with you.
